Full description

Discover Seville's culinary traditions and listen to fascinating stories from Seville's past on a tapas, taverns, and history walking tour.

Start your evening with a traditional selection of tapas at one of Seville’s oldest bars. Opened in the 19th century as a wine shop, this spot has been in the same family for generations. Sample a delicious glass of vermouth alongside tasty starters for the perfect introduction to the city’s food culture. After this light refreshment, it’s time to get acquainted with the city. Take a guided history walk and discover some of Seville’s top sights and hear local stories. The next tapas bar is a must-visit, but easy to miss if you don’t know where to find it. Step inside this hot spot full of locals and get a sense of true Spanish culture. Try an original orange wine, paired with Manchego cheese and mouth-watering slow-roasted pork. A quick detour to the next bar will bring you through the streets of the Jewish Quarter and the city center. In addition to seeing the majestic Cathedral, you’ll hear the tale of Seville’s very own Romeo and Juliet. Next, it’s on to a traditional tapas bar for some hand-crafted bites. Try one of Spain’s most famous inventions dating back to the 15th century, montaditos. Enjoy a glass of dry manzanilla sherry provides a perfect pairing and you’ll learn how to order these treats like a true local. The final stop of the evening is down one of Seville’s hidden streets. After a day of discovery, sit down for a final round of classic tapas dishes, and glass of red or white Spanish wine will go alongside, as well as a tasty dessert.

This is a great tour. Our guide was really knowledgeable and linked the food and drink we were having to it’s history so well. Being in a small group also meant we could talk well with each other which made the evening flow well and a great opportunity to get to know fellow travellers.

A very nice tour of four really nice and charming tapas bars. We had a nice and humorous evening with a very nice group and a super nice guide with delicious food and traditional Andalusian specialties and drinks. I can only recommend the tour to anyone who wants to get to know and love the Andalusian cuisine and culture. You can also see a lot of Seville during the tour and get to know the evening life there.
