Get out of Dubai for a bit on a desert safari tour. Sit in a Bedouin tent and learn about desert life as you take part in traditional cultural activities.

Start your tour with a pickup from your hotel in Dubai. Hop into a 4x4 when you reach the outskirts of town and zip through the sand dunes on your way to the campsite.

When you get there, go on a camel ride and experience this traditional form of desert transport. Follow up your ride with some flavored shisha in a Bedouin tent and try some sandboarding.

Immerse yourself in the local culture with a captivating belly dance. Sip on some traditional Arabic coffee.

After your cultural experience, venture out of the tent and enjoy the desert sunset. Afterward, try on traditional costumes or get a henna tattoo.

This was an incredible experience and our driver/guide Ali was fantastic. The actual dune bashing was so much fun, and the camp was nice and the short camel rides were really nice, and the fire show was awesome. The food wasn’t great for vegetarians but it didn’t really matter to us too much as we booked for the experience rather than dinner. However there was no sandboarding available so if that is your main interest this description isn’t correct.

After the initial hiccup the experience itself was brilliant. The pick up was smooth and the journey was epic. The driver was friendly, fun and helpful. Driving the sand dunes was a little scary initially but so much fun loved every second. There was so much to do when you got there although would advise to take extra money as there are a few paid for bits there too. Although you can get away with taking no extra money as there is enough free things to do to keep you entertained
