Several galleries display carefully-restored artifacts from around the Muslim world, celebrating Islamic contribution to the World Heritage. Next, drive to Sharjah’s ‘Old Town’. After a stroll through the restored traditional market Souk Al Arsa, visit the Heritage Museum, showcasing the history and traditions of the Emirates and the Emirates of Sharjah. Before returning, you have time to explore Souk Al Markazi, a treasure trove of carpets, jewelry, and handicrafts.

Informative tour of Sharjah

The excursion to Sharjah was well organized, we were picked up at the hotel on time. Our tour guide was able to provide lots of useful information about all the sights visited. Since we made the trip during Ramadan, our guide also had information and tips on this. In the Museum of Civilization we learned a lot about the exhibits as well as the cornerstones of Islam. I can highly recommend the excursion, here you get a nice insight into the almost unknown neighboring Emirate of Sharjah.

Excellent from start to finish

Excellent organization; called one day before the excursion about the meeting point and time, which was subsequently followed exactly (is rare). Then the tour itself: first of all an excellent guide (Ruben) who had the advantage of speaking our language, so that it came into its own even better. Furthermore, the variety (see also note at the end) and the pace were perfect (also mutually agreed). Overall a very positive experience.

Sharjah was a nice contrast after Dubai. Its traditional Buildings gave a different impression.
