Full description

You will be picked up from your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh city between 8:00 PM and 9:00 PM. Then you will travel in an air-conditioned vehicle for around 4 hours to reach the Moses Mountain.

When you arrive at Mount Sinai you will start your trekking tour to the sacred place where the Prophet Moses received the 10 commandments. Reach 2,285 meters by climbing up 750 steps, strolling through the night (approx 2-3 hours depending on the customers).

Depending on the performance of the group, you may arrive at the summit earlier than expected. This will give you a chance to really relax and marvel at the rising sun slowly scattering across the mountains in all its splendor.

While gazing at the sunrise, snap awesome photos or pray if you wish to, then begin the descent back down. Remember, it will take around 2 hours to reach the bottom. Enjoy some time to rest after the long trail and then have breakfast.

Next, visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of St. Catherine's Monastery. Browse through the old manuscripts displayed in the library and icons excavated from the Vatican.

It is the oldest functioning Christian monastery in the world situated on the Sinai Peninsula along with the Monastery of Saint Anthony which is located across the Red Sea in the desert of South Cairo.

After you've finished touring the monastery, you can relax on the drive back to your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh.

Great experience, but not for everyone. Even for a trained person it can be tiring. In short, it is a demanding trek at low temperatures, especially at the top. Great and helpful Mt Sinai local guide. Referent on the minibus a little approximate and provided us with some "toy" torches, some of which were discharged.

Really recommended excursion, probably the one I liked most of the whole holiday. We did it on January 1st, they picked us up in the resort with a minibus and took us to the monastery of Santa Caterina, one of the weak points is the very narrow minibus and therefore it is very difficult to rest during the journey, from the monastery a Bedouin guide led us up to the summit we had to dress warmly to go to the top where there was also some hint of snow, the climb is feasible by everyone, plus if you want you can do it on a camel even if I don't recommend it because you lose the pleasure of night walking, more or less every km there is a Bedouin refreshment point where you can eat and drink tea to warm up while you rest. Without the final 750 steps to the top you can see the sunrise and then go back down and visit the monastery which I expected much more beautiful Ps. from the cold of the night it quickly becomes warm when the sun rises

I been on the top of the Sina mountain. The view from there is breathtaking. I suggest to dont take a lot of things with you only water , chocolates to give you power and warm clothes. Is necessary to have with you a warm clothes, gloves and cap for the top level. About our tour guide Ahmed and the other guide Astra both are very kind and friendly person's. Keep going guy's! Thank you for everything. Unfortunately I didn't like our driver who was very kind guy too but his speak all the time to his phone all the time and drived with one hand from the pickup until the end of the tour. I told him that this is no very safe for all with very kind and friendly way like a joke but his continued to do that. Anyway I hope his understanding!
