Together, they help develop the careers of Cambodian artists, with the aim of reviving the nation’s art scene, making worldwide connections, and contributing to artistic, educational, and social programs. 2. Angkor Wat: Vintage Jeep with Driver Rental

Your tour will begin with your being picked up from your accommodation by an English-speaking driver in a vintage American war Jeep. This jeep (official name M151 "MUTT") was developed with guidance from the US Army's Ordnance Truck Automotive Command. Design started in 1951, with testing and prototyping lasting through most of the fifties. Although the M151 was developed and initially produced by Ford, production contracts for the M151A2 were later also awarded to Kaiser Jeep and AM General Corp. First put into service in Vietnam, the MUTT played an active part in American military operations well into the 1980s, when it was phased out in favor of the Humvee. The jeep was a historical witnesses of the Vietnam War, and will bring you to the world heritage temple Angkor Wat, Bayon (Angkor Thom) and one of the most popular temples, Ta Prom, which has trees growing out of its ruins. On this day you will visit the famous ancient Angkor Wat temple complex in style, and you will experience the charm of this temple in an authentic jungle manner, by jeep. You can even discus together with your driver which temples from the Angkor Small circuit you would like to visit. On this small circuit you will find plenty of temples, with the most famous being Angkor Wat, Ta Prohm and Bayon Temple. You can also visit other temples such as Baphuon, Ta Keo, the Terrace of Elephants, Ta Nei and Prei Rup which are also located on this small circuit. The Angkor Pass can only be purchased in person at the official ticket center, located 3 miles (4 km) from Siem Reap town. If you book this activity, you will be picked up from your hotel in Siem Reap by tuk-tuk and driven to the official ticket center. A local assistant will help you to purchase your Angkor Pass easily and hassle free. Choose the pass depending on how many days you would like to spend exploring the Angkor Archaeological Park. Options available are a 1-day, 3-day, or 7-day pass. You will need to present and be ready for a photo to be taken of you in person. After picking up your ticket, you will be dropped back to your hotel in Siem Reap.

5. From Siem Reap: Day Trip to Battambang and Temple Tour

At 7:00h a Euro Kymer guide will pick you up from your hotel and drive you to the west of Siem Reap to the Sisophon district. The area is full of gorgeous of lakes and Kymer temples – the perfect opportunity for some photographs. We will continue to Battambang Province, the heart of Cambodia’s rice bowl. Its title gives it away. It’s the area where the Cambodia produces most of it’s rice, and it not unusual to see cattle driving carts of rice along its dusty mud tracks. At the Sompove Mountain you visit the Killing Cave. Again, its name gives it away. It was a place where hundreds of people were tortured and killed. At the top of Banon Mountain, your next stop, is the temple of Banon - a mid 11th century Angkorian-era ruin consisting of five Prasats arranged in the quincunx form reminiscent of Angkor Wat. Back in the town center, we will visit the Provincial Museum and Wat Kandal – a collection of ancient pagodas. We will arrive back in Siem Reap in the late evening.
