Cape Point is located just 60 kilometers from Cape Town in a nature reserve within Table Mountain National Park. It is the most southwestern tip of the African continent, and popularly referred to as the mythical meeting place of the Atlantic and Indian oceans. Discovered in 1488 by Bartholomeu Dias, Cape Point has long been an important navigational landmark. The 9-hour tour begins in Cape Town and the drive takes you along the scenic Atlantic coast with the stunning backdrop of Table Mountain, Lion's Head and the 12 Apostles mountains. After a short stop at Clifton Beach your drive continues past Camps Bay and then on spectacular Chapman's Peak Drive to the quaint fishing village of Hout Bay.
