This was a fantastic tour - you cover so much in a relatively short time! Very well organized. Our guide Luigi (and Luigi the driver!), as well as Genaro in Pompeii, were all wonderful - so knowledgeable - and they did the tour in Italian and English, which was pretty impressive! Genaro painted a great picture of everyday life in Pompeii, as well as events leading up to the eruption, and guided us to things we never would have discovered on our own. The driver, Luigi, navigated the bus up the twisty mountain to Vesuvios with unbelievable skill. Seeing the volcano (even when it hailed!) - was well worth the hike up the last part of the mountain!! You should definitely be prepared for a steep hike up! This was definitely one of the best things we did during our trip to Italy!

I felt very lucky to have picked this tour out of the many Pompeii tours available! Gino our tour guide was so interesting and he had a great way of telling the story of Pompeii, the history of the city, its people and the link between past and present day living! Wonderful tour, very reasonably priced and worth every penny. Thank you from two tourist happy Irish customers!!!
