Fabulous day out getting to the heart of St Lucia’s jungle. John who picked us up from our hotel helped us to identify all the birds we had so far encountered in St Lucia. His knowledge was extensive which was great. He exhibited a genuine love for the island’s wildlife and made a great host. Strong shoes are recommended but this was our best experience on the island of St Lucia.

Excellent all-around! John was a super guide, and he was very flexible, as we wanted to turn a half-day trip into a full-day excursion. The rainforest reserve was gorgeous, and the Tet Paul nature trail was equally breathtaking. I would HIGHLY recommend this tour.

Wir hatten eine private Tour zu zweit, was toll war, da uns John einfach alles gezeigt hat, was wir gerne sehen und wissen wollten. Er hat Halt gemacht an einer Bananenplantage, wir waren im Regenwald "Bird watching", wir probierten & kauften selbst gemachten "St. Lucia Coconut Cream Liquer" und "St. Lucia Banana Cream Liqueur", er hielt für uns oberhalb der Marigot Bay an und kaufte uns eine Kokosnuss zum Trinken und zum Essen. Es war ein Genuß. John ist sehr aufgeschlossen und hätte uns am liebsten noch mehr von der Insel gezeigt! Zu empfehlen ist die Tour besser ab "Castries", da die Anfahrt von Soufrière doch über 1 Std ist (Straße ist sehr kurvenreich). Wenn man jedoch das Hotel nicht in Castries hat, ist die Abholung dort auch ok. Würde ich immer wieder machen! John was great, helpful and friendly. He showed us a banana plantation, the rainforest and bird watching, he bought us near the Marigot Bay one coconut to taste, it was wonderful. I really recommend the tour! Thanks
