What people are saying about South Carolina
Trip to Magnolia Plantation via Gray Line Tours was exceptional. Driver Scott was an added bonus before and after plantation tour as he shared a wealth of knowledge of Charleston. Tour of mansion was informative. Take the Slave tour as another option versus the tram tour. Plenty of time to walk the gardens, Well worth the ride from Charleston.
It was a great experience. The drive was a little longer than expected cause we didn’t get back in time to do historic tour but that was ok because we had overbooked tours so we saw it anyway. The garden and home are beautiful but we needed bug spray for the mosquitoes. The tour guides were very good. Enjoyed it all.
I highly recommend visiting this place. It’s beautiful even during the winter. Is just a short and trip from Charleston. The house is beautiful and you will see original furnitures and china. My main purpose was to see how was such a place organized and how slaves lived back there.
We loved touring the property and everyone was very helpful. The tour guide at the main house was excellent, as was Mike, our bus driver. The plantation was beautiful even in December.
We had very interesting and entertaining guides. This is a wonderful tour....very relaxing and informative. And the bus was very comfortable.
