Discover the nightlife of Saigon the way the locals do on a tour by traditional cyclo or scooter. Stop at Saigon's riverside for a local dinner and cruise along the Saigon River with live entertainment on board. With the cyclo option, ride along the city's main streets with a driver and guide and pass by Ben Thanh Market, General Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral, People Committee Hall, and Opera House. If you choose the scooter option, see the same sites as the cyclo option with additional time to pass by the flower market, Nguyen Thien Thuat apartments, and the fashion district. After your ride, visit Saigon's riverside and be welcomed on board a cruise boat to take in the sites of the city from a new perspective. Cruise along the Saigon River, and enjoy dinner as traditional Vietnamese dance and music shows are performed. Following dinner, relax on the way back towards Bach Dang Harbor where the cruise ends. End your evening with drop-off back at your hotel.

After being picked up from your hotel at 8:00 AM by your private car and tour guide, drive for 2-hours out of Saigon to the port. Take a leisurely cruise on the Tien River to see 4 islets which are represented as four mythical animals in Southeast Asia: Dragon, Kirin, Tortoise, and Phoenix. Visit a honey bee farm and taste a delicious honey tea with lemon known for its health properties. If you are feeling adventurous, take the opportunity to stop at a local python farm. Continue to a coconut candy workshop to see how the delicious candies are made by hand. Next, listen to some Don Ca Tai Tu, a genre of traditional folk music. Relax on a rowing boat cruise as you journey through a mangrove palm canal. Continue the trip with a horse-drawn carriage ride through the village to experience the way locals traveled in the 19th-century. Finally, head to the Vinh Trang Pagoda in My Tho Town. This ancient building is considered to be the biggest and oldest pagoda in southern Vietnam and was influenced by Asian and Western architecture and culture. End the tour at around 5:00 PM where you will be returned to Saigon.

We will make our way to the theater to enjoy the Water Puppet Show. Puppets are made from light timbers, carved, polished and decorated with different colours to demonstrate the clear personalities of each character. Water puppetry is a unique Vietnamese art form performed in a large pool using the water as a stage. The artisans inside the cabin control puppets. They perform each pole, rope,… puppets with the system of ropes arranged outside or under the water. The stage is decorated with flags, fans, parasols. It is considered as one of the most traditional and important parts of Vietnamese culture. You will also enjoy the Vietnamese orchestra, which provides the background music for the show. The orchestra is manned by an array of talented singers accompanied by professional musicians performing with traditional musical instruments. After the show, we will head to the wharf, the original commercial port of Sai Gon, where we will enjoy a dinner served on board a cruise. The atmosphere of having dinner on board is very interesting and cozy. The cruise will have a live entertainment by traditional folk style songs. On board, you can extend your vision of all the colorful city at night.

we had a wonderful evening being ridden around on Cyclos to see some of Ho Chi Minh's stunning architecture followed by a leisurely dinner river cruise.
