Nha Trang: Day Trip to Ba Ho Waterfall

1. Nha Trang: Day Trip to Ba Ho Waterfall

After pickup from your accommodation, head approximately 25 kilometers north to the Ba Ho Waterfalls. Ba Ho means “Three Pools” in Vietnamese, and the iconic waterfalls consist of 3 clear, refreshing pools with their respective waterfalls. Trek up to the top of the local mountain and take in the views of the surroundings. Feel the exhilaration of jumping into the pools from the surrounding cliffs. Swim in the cooling water and look out for local fish and wildlife. Stop for lunch and enjoy some delicious Vietnamese cuisine at a local restaurant.

What people are saying about Southern Vietnam

Pick up and drop-off at our hotel which is super convenient. There were 7 people in total (not including Tu, our guide). It felt like a good number of people, not super crowded. The other people participating were all nice and friendly. Tu was a great guide. I think if you want to do jumps it's nice to have someone who goes frequently and knows where you should (and can) jump from. Tu showed us how to modify our jumps for people who were less comfortable (like myself). I would recommend hiking sandals (although you'll likely get sticks and rocks in your sandals) or shoes. You will have to get into waist-high waters at one point so keep that in mind. If you have a waterbag that's perfect for this trip. This was a great alternative since we couldn't swim in the sea (wind and waters were too rough during our stay). Highly recommend! Oh, I loved the chicken rice joint we stopped at for lunch after the waterfalls.

We had the excursion in a small tour group (3 people). Our guide, Shin, picked us up in front of the hotel on time and took us to the waterfalls. Shin speaks good English and explained everything to us - including a lot about life and culture in Vietnam that had nothing to do with the tour as such. The waterfalls were super beautiful. We had plenty of time and there weren't many tourists there. The included lunch was authentic and delicious. Shin took a lot of photos of everything, which he later made available via Whatsapp. We really enjoyed the tour and can only recommend it. Thanks also to Shin for your flexibility and the well organized tour - it was really a lot of fun :).

Very professional, competent and friendly guides. We had such a lovely morning bathing and hiking and a very good lunch afterwards. 5/5 from us!! Enjoy!!

This tour is definitely worth it! The tour guides were amazing and the waterfalls were just as good!

Great experience, lots of walking and somewhat challenging terrain
