New York City: Private 9/11 Memorial and Ground Zero Tour

1. New York City: Private 9/11 Memorial and Ground Zero Tour

Begin your 1.5-hour tour at St. Paul's Chapel, the oldest public building in New York City still in continuous use. This church survived the 9/11 attacks despite being a block away from the World Trade Center. It became a makeshift rescue center and family members posted notices of their missing loved ones on its iron fence. Hear about the heroism of emergency responders at the Firefighter's 9/11 Memorial Wall, and see the Engine and Ladder Company 10/10, the fire station at Ground Zero. Visit the 9/11 Memorial, and see the Reflecting Absence Memorial – a waterfall symbolizing the vast void left by the tragedy. See the new Freedom Towers and World Trade Center rise from the ground.

Definitely worth getting a guided tour!! Don’t miss this!! The guide was friendly and helpful, very knowledgeable and grew up in New York. The whole experience was very personal and inspiring. Would most definitely go again and recommend !

Informative and moving experience, our guide was very interesting and covered a lot of information. The museum had so much memorabilia and stories about 9/11 that it took 6 hours between the outside walking tour and the museum.

Alice was phenomenal! So informative and kind. We truly enjoyed our time with her as we remembered such a tragic day.

Amazing even in the pouring rain. Tour guide James was outstanding!

This was exactly what we wanted. Fun way to learn interactively
