    1. Saint Peter's Basilica Official Audioguide

Explore one of Rome's most famous and magnificent sites! Discover why the American philosopher Ralph Waldo Emerson described this site as "an ornament of the earth … the sublime of the beautiful". St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican is the primary temple of Christianity, and is built in the Renaissance style, with a central dome dominating the skyline of Rome. As you enter the church, you will see that its interior is much bigger than those of any other cathedral. Using an official audio-guide of the Basilica, you can start your visit at any point of the church, without having to follow the order dictated by the presence of a guide. You can decide, for example, to begin with the heart of the Basilica, beneath the high altar and the Bernini's Baldachin, where you will discover the “Confession” or “Chapel of the Confession”, in reference to the confession of faith by St. Peter, which led...

This was sold as a gardens, museum and sistine chapel tour. The time changed and when we showed up for the new time for the garden tour, a representative walked us to a bus and walked away. She never introduced herself or explained anything. The garden “tour” was a tape, but the bus driver did bot keep in step with the tape. After the tour we were ushered off the bus and did not know where to go or what to do. The new “directions” suggested we visit the Sistine chapel before or after our next meeting with a GetYourGuide person. It was about an hour and a half lter that we went to the GetYourGuide office, which was packed with people. Our guide from there was nice, but it was chaotic.

Highly recommend - Barbera is the best! Wow! This was even better than I could have hoped for, thanks to our unforgettable guide Barbera. Barbera was a FANTASTIC, ENGAGING, and SUPER FUN guide... truly, I don't think it gets better (and I am a former tour guide myself.) She led the tour with the perfect balance of teaching us important facts but also making it a memorable experience, filled with laughter. I like the fact that she is a native Roman and so it really felt like he was teaching us about her own history. We felt very looked after by her and she was so great at truly connecting with everyone in our group, and answering all our questions. We were smiling the entire time. So grateful for the experience and I thought it was worth every penny. Bravo!

The tour with Chiara absolutely amazing. We had a small group. No lines at the Basilica or Museum with the 8am tour. Definitely wear good walking shoes. Our guide Chiara (when in Rome Tours) was such a great guide. Very interacting and so very knowledgeable, funny and great energy. Personalized our tour so we could get to the most important stops in an efficient manner. Made sure everyone’s needs were met along the way. She offered to take photos of each person/couple at the best spots! She was interested in each person/couple. Asked where we were going next so she could recommend activities/restaurants.
