Very enjoyable trip with excellent Driver (Bevan’s) commentary. His knowledge of the island is amazing and his Māori knowledge and spoken word, is amazing. Bus is very comfortable to travel in and very safe. You certainly won’t be disappointed if you go on this trip. Thank you Bevan for a very enjoyable 1 1/2 hours. This tour was very informative and gave us a great idea of what Stewart Island was all about, and what it is like to live here. We left with a great understanding of the Island and it's culture etc. Real NZ as a great asset in it's bus driver and guide - Bevan.

Our guide was funny which added to the experience. The village is not big, but the tour was enjoyable and gave us an overview of activity and life on the island. Lunch ar the pub was one of their famous blue cod fish burgers - beautiful! A worthwhile hour and a half for the trip.
