    The tour begins with departure from Strasbourg bus station and heads to the first stop of the day, historical Haut-Koenigsbourg Castle. Upon arrival, admire the building’s architecture, learn about the people who once lived here, and marvel at the castle's stunning views across the Black Forest. After the castle, the open-top bus follows the famous Alsace Wine Route, making a stop at one of the region's most well-preserved medieval villages along the way, Riquewihr. Spend some free time wandering through the village’s picturesque streets, shop at a local store for a souvenir, or find a cozy restaurant for lunch. The tour continues to Kaysersberg next, to marvel at its beautiful fortified bridge nestled amongst the quaint village surroundings. Your day trip finishes with a visit to Colmar, a unique and endearing country town, for a ride on the tourist train. Please note that the tourist train doesn't run in November. Instead, there will be free time in the city.

    Great tour. Recommend reservations when stopping for lunch. There was NO ROOM when we stopped and after and hour of wondering from place to place we ate at an outdoor food stand on the ground. Great tour overall, but highly recommend that guides either plan lunch or that guests are informed to plan ahead.

    Touring the castle was very interesting and I enjoyed walking through the villages. I would have liked to have had a short walking tour through at least one of the villages to hear a little more about the history and architecture. During the drives to each village, a few quick photo op stops (10 minutes) just enough time to stop and get out of the bus to snap a picture - such as at the cemetery would have been nice.

    We really enjoyed this trip. Alsace elms toe full of picture postcard beautiful villages and Haut Koenigsbourg was stunning. The castle tour was one of the best, if not the best we’ve ever been on, and incredibly well organised. The us was very modern and comfortable, the commentary was excellent, and the driver was great.
