Full description

Created in 1570, Strasbourg’s Christkindelsmärik, or Market of the Infant Jesus, is the oldest Christmas market in Europe. Each November the city becomes the Capital of Christmas. Two million visitors come to visit the market, enjoy the famous flashing lights of the Christmas tree in Place Kléber and discover Alsatian culture. On this 1 hour and 30 minute tour, taste culinary specialties such as hot wine, pretzels and kugelhopf. Get in some holiday shopping with typical souvenirs such as religious statues, handmade toys, tablecloths, napkins, Christmas tree ornaments and jewelry. Jerome is a really pleasant person to walk around with. He shared a lot of info and was more than happy to accomodate the tours bases on our wishes. We saw 5 or 6 of all the Christmas markets in Strasbourg (there are 10 in total). In between, we got to see th city quite a lot. Take this tour on your first day. You will see Strasbourg with different eyes afterwards.

Not at all in line with my expectations

Guide normally in French, turns out to be in English even if the guide made efforts to speak in French he couldn't help it, you are at fault and I find the price extremely expensive for what it is of the scam!
