It was extremely interesting ... listening to some of the John Lennon songs, and hearing Paul Mac...talking about John. Good to see the 'Imagine' piano...and how it came from George Michael's collection...Thank you George! So much to see inside...and followed up by time in the surrounding Garden. It was my first time there since the old Victorian House was knocked down...Good too to hear the story of the wonderful Salvation Army....

Exhibition exploring the history of the strawberry fields original mansion and the involvement of the Salvation Army, moving onto John Lennons attraction to the place, his childhood musical influences and the making of strawberry fields forever. A must for Beatles fans, it contains the piano on which John composed Imagine. The cafe and gardens are very nice, the ethos of employing people who need extra help on the workplace is laudable

We had planned our visit for lunchtime to enable us to eat at Strawberry Field. I would have thought it would have been possible to at least make sandwiches available. David Jones
