The tour was excellent organized and the driver was very kind and friendly and made sure that although the weather was not so pleasant that it was a remarkable experience. I got a chance to see mount bromo and the driver was speaking perfectly English which made me feel very comfortable and safe during the whole trip. I kind highly recommend this tour. It was really a beautiful and remarkable experience.

The experience was amazing! Worth the early start. Colder than we thought before sunrise, around 8 deg C so bring hat and layers. Our driver Bagus was great, good local knowledge, told us the best spot to stand for sunrise, comfortable journey and he made it such an amazing day out. Also to mention he takes amazing photos!

This is a highly professionally organised guided tour from Surabaya to see the sunrise at Bromo Volcano. There is a tight schedule, which was met on time and highly organised. From getting picked-up at the lobby of our hotel at 11.30 pm sharp to changing the transportation vehicle to a Toyota 4WD at Cemoro Lawang at 3.30 am to getting to the peak point on top of the Bromo Volcano at 4.00 am to see the sunrise at 5.30 am, to taking us to the Sea of Sands at 6.00 am and back to Cemoro Lawang to have breakfast at 8.00 am and return then to Surabaya well ahead of time. Our guide, named Tono, was highly knowledgable about the entire area, and also gave us some background info on Surabaya itself on the return in bright daylight, where we were shown some of the local attractions, e.g. the Monument of the Battle between Sura the shark and Baya the crocodile. This was a TOP experience, which was well organised and absolutely safe. Many thanks to Tono, Heru and the Team!
