You can drive to the Zoo (plenty of parking). I prefer to travel by Ferry (e.g. from Circular Quay). Ferry boat ride is relaxing and enjoyable getting wonderful views of different bays and beaches around Sydney Harbour on route to the Zoo. Wear comfortable walking shoes, a light backpack, minimum personal essentials, *packet of "Wet Ones" and tissues. While you can get food and drinks at the Zoo, I prefer to take a water bottle and small picnic lunch/sandwiches/biscuits - which my friend(s) also bring, so we share for different food tastes. Makes quite a pleasant picnic break. Suggest you plan ahead which animals and events you wish to see and get there just after the Zoo opens in the morning. This way, you can pace yourself with breaks for a morning "coffee" break and lunch. Tickets come with map(s) which are easy to follow. The views of Sydney Harbour and its shores from the Zoo are spectacular - you'll get some fabulous photos as souvenirs of your visit. Enjoy this great Zoo!

My guide Antoine is a fantastic guy and the trip was way beyond expectations. First he did not cancel my booking despite I was the only guest today (the other 2 backed off as it might rain). Secondly, he brought me to spots that are not commonly visited by tourists to Blue Mountain. When I sent my photos to friends, they do not believe that those were in Blue Mountain and I just received replies like Wow, Wow, Wow! Third, Antoine is such a good photographer and I learnt so much photography from him today. Lastly, he would go all the way out for me to ensure I spent enough time at each spot and as a result of that, he had to work overtime. I would definitely recommend Antoine from Wildscape Adventure.

It was a perfect day with beautiful views of the ocean, an exquisite drive through the Highlands and the national forest and best of all the koala sanctuary. Our guide was extremely knowledgable and genuine.

Response time is good . Tour operator offered a revisit for free due to the lack of whale sighting. Staff were friendly . Food is ok . A pleasant experience despite the shy whales .

Good trip, friendly tour guide. Like the flexibility of this private day trip. Recommend!
