What people are saying about Tamarindo

We all gathered and transported out to the catamaran on time. The Crew was fabulous in all aspects. Helpful, smiling and informative. The open bar was truly an open bar the whole time we were on the boat. They had no problem mixing me up non alcoholic blender drinks and doing so graciously. The food was plentiful and very tasty. Our Captain was always around and had a great sense of humor. On the way back we were fortunate to see whales. Beautiful sunset and a great way to finish a delightful day. My Husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our day on this tour. This is probably not a tour I would recommend for children. There was a lot of drinking, the current was fairly strong swimming off the boat and the group I was with on the boat were adults, no families. Not much running around happening. Very low key and relaxed.

Saw monkeys, a capuchin up close. Our driver was able to steer boat into brush and capuchin came up to us, fun to see. Many crocodiles and exotic birds. Also saw several iguanas. After tour, had nice stop for fruit and tasty juice. Long trip however from Tamarindo area but generally worth the drive. We had tour van take us and it was nice not to drive since tour was early morning departure. Enjoyable tour.

What a wonderful adventure! We saw at least 30 crocodiles, 10 white face monkeys and 7 howling monkeys. And on top of that we saw so many exotic birds. The trip to the ranch for a fruit and juice break was lovely. I highly recommend this tour!

Definitely a very fun sunset boat! More of a young/party vibe, which was fun. Open bar drinks were delicious and the food was good. Plenty of time to play in the water.

Jose, the guide. Was personable and very knowledgeable Even before getting on the river, he told us about agriculture in that part of Costa Rica
