The driver of our vehicle, Sebastian, was professional and courteous and as helpful as he could be, given his limited English. However the so called guide, Joshua, who was driving the other vehicle, barely spoke a sentence to us all day, giving no guidance beyond very basic instructions. We expected more information and general attention from him.

Great day, just be prepared for lots of driving. When booking it would not give me the option to enter my hotel pick up location which caused some anxiety as I wasn't sure I was being picked up or not, however I was contacted the day before the trip and was told that I would be picked up. When we got to Mt Etna we were all told we had 90mins to which we all agreed. I came back to the van after exploring Mt Etna for 90mins, however there were two people from our group that never returned. We waited in the carpark for over an hour which caused lots of anger for all involved. The tour guide (Sebastian) did everything he could have possibly done to resolve the situation and he apolgised to us all which I appreciated but also it was not his fault. I think going forward it must be made absolutely clear that you need to be back at a given time othwrwise it throws the whole tour and schedule off for everyone.

There was miscommunication regarding pick up location. Make sure to double-check a day or two before trip. Also, there is missing approximately timeline of trip (ours was sometnihg like this): 3.5 hours drive to ETNA 1.5 hours at ETNA 1 hour drive to Taormina 2.5 hours at Taormina 3.5 hours drive back to Palermo
