Great tour to see Mount Etna! Our tour guide Andreas was great and very insightful, he answered all our questions and told us many things along the way. Definitely bring something warm to wear. We went mid August and it was about 17 degrees and windy, a lot of people had to buy sweaters in the end, especially if you plan on taking the funicular higher up. The tour of the bee farm was also nice but definitely not the highlight of the trip.

Excellent experience! Our guide, Roberto, was extremely knowledgeable about volcanology and the history of Mt. Etna! Having a personal tour guide to answer any questions and tailor the experience to your own personal skill level and ability was well worth it! Be sure to wear lightweight pants and bring a windbreaker since it’s pretty windy and can get a bit cold. Hiking boots are highly recommended but not a necessity. Overall awesome experience and highly recommended! Thank you, Roberto!

Back at 2000 meters, you will be given the proper equipment, such as helmets and torches, to visit one of the striking lava caves of the volcano. Enjoy a typical Sicilian light lunch with local wine and drinks during the midday break. Finally, you will admire the Alcantara Gorges created when thick lava flows invaded the bed of the icy river Alcantara, giving rise to geometrically perfect rocks.
We had a wonderful time with Antonio. He is really passionate about geology and Etna. He told us so many interesting and funny stories and was answering all our questions. Important for tourists, even if the excursion says "trip to summit", there are little chances that you will get there because most of the time there is some dangerous activity in the biggest crater. Nevertheless, we discovered a lot and enjoyed a nice atmosphere during the day

Our trip to the Etna and Taormina was really great. Our young guide Dario made it even more interesting thanks to his enthousiastic storytelling and amazing knowledge of nature and ecology of the volcano. The picnic and wine at midday were delicious. Also Taormina was wonderful (but very hot!) Highly recommended trip!

At 3,000 meters altitude, you will prize being able to approach the several active craters of the summit, complete with their high plumes of smoke. This is an exclusive route tailored to stay away from the usual crowd of tourists. A picnic break is then planned along the way in the middle of the ash volcanic desert. You will be able to take a break and enjoy a lunch composed of traditional Sicilian specialties. If time allows, the excursion will conclude with a...
Well worth the money. Seemed expensive at the beginning, but after doing the tour with Roberto, it became clear how experienced he is. The cheaper tours are mostly bus rides up and down the mountain, but not this one. We definitely got our full package Etna-experience. Roberto is a great guide, very easy-going, he made sure everything was fine with us. Recommend!

What people are saying about Taormina
My husband and I decided to take this cruise after our travel agent recommended it to us. We were so thrilled with our experience. We got lucky to be with one other couple who were the sweetest souls and made our experience that much better. Graziella and Saro are so incredibly lovely and charming--they completely made this experience as amazing as it was. The views were amazing, made better by Graziella's knowledge of the island. The boat is kept up meticulously well and we loved having the snacks they provided toward the end of our tour, after we were done swimming. My husband and I are on our honeymoon and they toasted us with prosecco which was such a beautiful gesture. Highly, highly recommend this tour, independently owned by a wonderful wife and husband team.
Although it was raining so much the day we did this excursion, they made it a really pleasant experience! They also send a message before the excursion if we wanted to do the boat tour on another day to have better weather but we didn’t had any service on our phone so we didn’t see the message. Although they didn’t know we were coming they were waiting for us! We got to swim with lots of fish because of the boat driver! We got some snacks and a drink on the boat with a nice talk with them! It was an amazing boat tour and i would recommend everyone to do this one with blue diamond!
Amazing experience - fantastic boat, crew and views. Highly recommend, a highlight of our trip. Recommend bringing snorkelling mask for the swim (buy beforehand, shops along the seafront)
It was a pleasure to be with this lovely boat and crew at these beaches. The service, snack was perfect and hospitality hearty. I perfect choice. Thanks a lot for this spot!!!
Great experience. Boat captain was friendly ans very informative. The food was yummy. Probably need more water on boat but otherwise great day.
