Bathing at the foot of a volcano and then seeing it pour lava is impressive

The first part is hard. Palmarés has a very small beach and far from the port, a limited number of restaurants are very hot and many people arrived at the same time (several boats full) which implies that if you do not bring food the best thing you can do is just set foot in land is looking for a place to eat. But it is worth paying this toll for the subsequent experience of reaching the island of Stromboli, bathing on the black beach at the foot of the volcano .. Tips. Be ready for boarding soon to go on the upper deck of the ship. Especially in the last section that you will see the eruptions. Do not catch macarronada. You will be eating school macaroons with reduced visibility while the volcano show takes place outside. Take sandwiches or buy arancinas or similar before in the boat bar. The organization is really good. Of course, there are many people and if in Spain the rows do not go very well, in Italy they are directly riots. Patience worth the pain

Excursion Unforgettable! For the money it is more than justified! Thanks to the Guide Francesco - freely and heartily spoke about the volcano in English, German and Italian! Very detailed and interesting, even with my knowledge of a foreign language! To see the sunset on the Etna Volcano (height of 3000 meters) is an unforgettable experience! The best excursion of those that were at the time of my stay in Sicily! Thanks again!

Very nice and well organised trip

even when it's around 30° at seaside … at 3000m and possibly with a strong wind it might be felt as something around 0 - 5°, so take some warm clothing with you! Very nice and well organised - and a special Moment when you are in the evening more or less alone on Mt. Aetna.

Our guide Marco shared his great knowledge about Taormina with us, took us to places that we would never have found on our own. The explanations were detailed and informative. We highly recommend this tour.

It was a very friendly guide with a lot of humor and knowledge. He responded to our wishes and was open to everything. A very successful trip!!
