Kuta: Kintamani Culture and Nature Guided Cycling Tour

2. Kuta: Kintamani Culture and Nature Guided Cycling Tour

The tour begins with pickup at your hotel, from where you will drive to the starting point in Abuan Kintamani village. Quick safety standard explanation from the guides before riding the bike. The route is very interesting as it takes us through some villages, gardens, and rice fields around 22 km mostly gentle downhill. On the way, there are several stops that will allow us to learn and see local people's routines in their real life. The first stop is in the Balinese hose where the guide will explain some information about the Balinese compound, the second one is in the palm tree garden to have a coffee break with Balinese cake. The third is in front of the historical Gunung Raung temple in Taro village and the last is in Bresela village, where the most stunning rice field view is located. The tour ends by having lunch in Greenkubu cafe situated in the middle of a rice field.

Beautiful tour and very nice well educated guide. Guide has good English communication and can even speak some Dutch. Very friendly, knowledgeable and made sure that everyone was satisfied. I was more experienced with bikes and didn't have a photographer so one of the other guides offered to join me so I could go quicker / a bit longer. While the main guide stayed with the others. The other guide wasn't great at English, but was able to use google translate to answer some of my questions. I was almost put off by there not being any reviews but was glad that I did it anyways. Apparently they have just started with getyourguide, so I guess I'm the first review here. Good way to see bali in a non touristy way and to get to know more about the life and culture. Thanks for the tour

This activity was fab. The two guides we had on both the rafting and cycling were great. The guide for the cycling took us through his village were he grew up and lived. We met his mother and extended family and had a tour of his family house. We felt totally honoured. We learnt so much about the local community in beautiful surroundings. We would highly recommend booking this tour. The company was so well organised and the included lunch was great.

A discovery outside the main roads, taking the time to ride a bike through villages and rice fields. Several breaks planned each time with Bali coffee, local cookies, and lunch, all included! A great meeting with villagers. Presentation of the “local” temples on our way. A very professional guide. A great day.
