Really early start and a long wait for the tour guide, the bus could have picked us up 1 hour later. Masada is not that easy to climb notwithstanding so early in the morning … it’s hot! Amazing to see the sunrise. Ein Gedi was a rush! Dead Sea was an incredible experience but still hot! It seems rushed and very little “guidance” either little knowledge or little interest. The sights were amazing and so was the experience of all three stops.

It’s an early start but well worth it as you watch the sun rise from the top of Masada. Keep in mind that there’s a set time to be back at the bus so the sooner you get up and down, the more time you have to explore at the top. If you’re reasonably fit and wearing the right gear then you will be fine and there’s ample time at the top. The time at Ein Gedi is limited, however after waking up early and just climbing masada, I’m not sure how much more you could do, so it was a nice taster. Again, the time at the Dead Sea was enough as you can’t bathe in the water for too long! It would be better if the beach had a few more food options as by this time you’re hungry! It’s a shame the tour company can’t agree a group discount to the entrance tickets to the 3 sites however.

The tour was very well organized. You arrive at Metsada around 4:30 and have 3h at the location (with 30min/1h to go up, 30min/1h to go down). Sunrise experience was absolutely beautiful! You then get 1h30h at Ein Gedi (more than enough, unless your plan is to do a long hike - but then this tour is not your right option) and 2h at the Dead Sea (more than enough, unless your plan is to go to the spa - but then this tour is not your right option). The only thing I would change is for the bus driver to turn off the lights on the night ride :)
