(Sunset cava + self guided stargazing, in April) First time on a stargazing tour. Solid overall. I was scared the bad weather could ruin the experience, but both sunset and stargazing are done above the clouds, so you could see everything perfectly. The cava part isn't really worth it in my opinion, if you have a car. The sunset is beautiful but you can just do the same thing by yourself. The stargazing - they let us see 5 different objects through the telescope, and didn't pressure us to be quick. They offered to take pictures of everyone at the end with the sky in the background. Unfortunately the milky way isn't visible in April, but we happened to spot a few shooting stars. The explanations are at a basic level (which I don't blame them for) so if you know a bit of astronomy already you won't be too impressed. Anyway would definitely recommend, at least if it's your first time stargazing.

Wow! What an amazing evening and great value for money. Lovely tasty food at a local Canarian restaurant up on the mountain side and great wine. Then on to a beautiful location to see the sunset. The stream of orange, red and yellows lighting up the sky in a almost unrealistic surrounding. Then finally to the highest road point on teide to see the stars. Lots of information unbelievable views into the night sky. It was very cold and dark at the top but for us just made the experience more surreal. Would recommend for all.

Fantastic activity from start to finish! Pick up time confirmed by text on the day. Tour guide gave lots of information on the island and history of the volcano. 3 course dinner with a drink is part of the deal. Very rustic but tasty food on hillside restaurant. Sunset with cava was stunning! Stargazing experience was so informative and interesting. Very cold though so take lots of layers and a warm coat. Drop off around 11pm. Must do experience!
