Day 1  Upon arrival at Kathmandu International Airport, get picked up by your friendly driver and transferred to your 3* hotel in the city center. Enjoy some free time for sightseeing then destress with a 1-hour sleep meditation before bed.  Day 2 Start the day with a 1-hour yoga session followed by breakfast. After breakfast, travel to Pokhara and admire green hills, beautiful valleys and rolling mountains along the way. End the day with another sleep meditation session before bed.  Day 3  Enjoy another yoga session before breakfast then make your way to Nayapul, where your trek begins. • Day one: Kathmandu arrival (4,265 feet) Meet your group at the meeting point in Kathmandu or get picked up from your hotel, where you will be warmly welcomed by a tour representative. Head to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is free to explore this historic and vibrant city. Meals: welcome dinner. • Day two: Fly to Pokhara (2,900 feet); drive to Nayapul (3,510 feet); trek to Tikhedhunga (5,053 feet) After breakfast in the hotel, the tour starts with a 25-minute flight from Kathmandu Airport to Pokhara. In Pokhara, visit the deep, narrow gorge of roaring Seti River and then drive to Davi’s Falls and further to Gupteswar Cave and the Bat Cave. Laze by the Phewa Lake and take a leisurely row on its sparkling waters. Drive 25 miles to Nayapul for the start of the trek. A steep trail from Nayapul directs trekkers down to a bridge over a small stream to get to Birethanti, a large and prosperous village. From Birethanti, take the left branch of the trail on the west side of the bridge at the ACAB post, where you'll need to show your ACAP permit and TIMS Card. Following the trail through main streets of Birethanti, winding through bamboo forests and past a large waterfall and swimming hole, reach Sudami beyond a pasture used by caravans. Climb steadily up the side of the valley to reach Hille, and about 15 minutes above Hille is the Tikhedhunga. Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner. • Day three: Trek to Ghorepani (9,023 feet) • Day four: Trek to Poon Hill (10,532 feet); trek to Nayapul, 3-4 hours, 3,280 foot descent; drive to Pokhara After about an hour climb in the morning, reach Poon Hill, which is a viewpoint for the spectacular Himalayan panorama extending from Dhaulagiri to Annapurna to Machhapuchhre, stretching from Dhaulagiri I and Tukuche to Nilgiri, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Hiunchuli, and Tarke Kang. Take the main trail that leads south dropping at first on a staircase, and then traversing high above the river on a stone paved trail. Cross a stream at Chane (5,540 feet) and continue to Kimche (5,380 feet) and follow the ridge downhill to join the Modi Khola at Syauli bazaar (3,740 feet). From there on, the walking is flat. Follow the river valley through a lovely birch forest and rice terraces before reaching Birethanti. Walk 30 minutes on a rough and rocky road to get to Nayapul, from where you'll drive back to Pokhara. Meals: breakfast, lunch, farewell dinner. • Day five: Fly back to Kathmandu Take a last memorable look at the Annapurna ranges and take a flight back to Kathmandu. Meals: breakfast.

Day 1: On your first day you will arrive to Kathmandu, after which you will check-in to your hotel. You will then be free to explore the town at your own leisure, before spending the night in a 3-star hotel. Day 2: Your second day will consist of sightseeing in Kathmandu. You will explore Patan Durbar Square, Kathmandu Durbar Square, and the Swayambhunath monkey temple. The square, situated in the heart of the city, consists of an enchanting assortment of palace buildings, artistic courtyards, and graceful pagoda temples. The former royal palace complex is the center of Patan's religious and social life, and houses a museum containing an array of bronze statues and religious objects. There are three main courtyards or chowks, named central Mul Chowk, Sundari Chowk, and Keshav Narayan Chowk in the square. You will later spend the night in your 3-star hotel, with leisure time in the evening. Day 3: Following breakfast on the third day you will drive/fly to Lumbini. After arriving, you will check-in to the Hotel Peace Palace or similar. Day 4: Your fourth day will consist of Lumbini sightseeing, where you will discover an area that is a Buddhist pilgrimage site in the Rupendahi district of Nepal. It is sometimes claimed to be the place where Queen Mayadevi gave birth to Siddhartha Gautama, who as the Buddha Gautama founded the Buddhist tradition. Lumbini is one of 4 magnets for pilgrimage that sprang up in places pivotal to the life of the Buddha, the others being in Kushinagar, Bodh Gaya, and Sarnath. Lumbini has a number of temples, including the Mayadevi Temple and others under construction. You will later spend the night once more at the Hotel Peace Palace or similar. Day 5: On your fifth day you will drive/fly back to Kathmandu, where you will overnight in a 3-star hotel. Day 6: Following breakfast at your hotel, you will have free time until your departure, at which point you will be transported in private for your departure at the airport.

This 11-day Annapurna Base Camp experience offers a shorter trekking trip for those time-pressed travelers.  • Day one: Arrival in Kathmandu (4,264 feet) Take in an amazing view of The Himalayas as you approach Kathmandu.
