This tour is amazing. The guide Kathy was well knowlegable and friendly. The information was accurate and very interesting, at the end of the tour you feel like you are able to understand better the LGBTQ community and you are aware of their struggles and influence in many other minorities. I loved the tour and I highly recommend it for anybody who is a lifelong learner. I will do this tour again. Also, the neighborhood is super friendly and the vibe is great.

Fun and informative

Kathy is a blast. She creates a great atmosphere on the tour - encouraging people to share their stories and making the tour about history but also about the sense of community here. She is respectful and inspiring. For people like me that worry about how far an hard will the walk be it was super easy, lots of stops and thoughtful restroom break midway. Couldn’t recommend more. Wish this was required learning for all of us.

The tour was incredible and I’d recommend it to anyone. I thought I knew a lot about LGBT history, but I learned plenty and was very moved by the experience. Kathy is a wonderful guide, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I feel like I know the Castro much better now and can’t wait to return. It’s bursting with energy and history, and is one of the most unique must-see places in San Francisco.
