Take a guided 4WD tour of the World Heritage listed Blue Mountains with exclusive access to view the largest enclosed canyon in the Southern Hemisphere, second only to the Grand Canyon, Capertee Valley. Other highlights include the Lost City, viewing ancient aboriginal rock art and spotting Australian wildlife in the wild. The tour includes pickup from any hotel or train station in the Blue Mountains area. Your guided 4wd tour begins with pick-up from any accommodation or train station in the Blue Mountains before heading to Clarence at the site of the old Zig Zag railway. Get straight into the adventure with some serious 4wding before heading to the Lost City, a formation of rock pagodas etched from nature over millions of years. After visiting these magnificent formations we head off to view some ancient aboriginal artwork painted several thousands of years ago. By now you will be getting a bit hungry so it is off to lunch. The Royal Hotel at Capertee is the order of the day here with home cooked meals and cold drinks as well as coal fires in the winter. Lunch and a drink is included (lunch location may be changed if The Royal Hotel is closed). After lunch it's time to do some creek crossings, hopefully spot a few wallabies and other wildlife and have a bit of fun. The final part of your 4wd adventure will end with exclusive access to private property with 270-degree views of the Capertee Valley. The views go on forever and overlook the giant Pantoneys Crown. You will then be dropped back at your accommodation or train station of your preference in the Blue Mountains where the tour concludes.     There is the option to be picked up from any train station in the mountains or your accommodation if you are staying in the surrounded suburbs of Katoomba. Pick-up is at 08:00, and drop-off is at 18:00. The tour duration is 10 hours.

Explore the outdoors on a guided hike and van tour and visit Sydney Zoo. Visit the quaint village of Leura, hike along a cliff face for views of the Three Sisters, and ride through the Blue Mountains. Begin your tour at one of the pickup points in Sydney and head to the Blue Mountains. As you drive, marvel at fantastic views of the Jamison Valley and Three Sisters. Enjoy a quick coffee and snack break at your expense before reaching Jamison Valley. Hop off the van in Jamison Valley to begin your hike. For the next hour and a half, hike along the cliff face and enjoy views of the mountains and the Three Sisters while you breathe in the fresh Blue Mountain air. After the hike, head to a hidden viewpoint and snap photos of the Megalong Valley. Continue to Leura, a small village with boutique stores for souvenir shopping and many options for a light snack or meal. After lunch, head back to Sydney and visit Sydney Zoo. Meet the koalas, emus, and wombats in the nocturnal section for Australian native mammals and reptiles. Explore the rest of the Zoo seeing international animals. We spend about 1hr - 1.2 hours at the Zoo. Your trip to Sydney is not complete without a Private Water Taxi on Parramatta River to Darling Harbour or Circular Quay. You will travel under the Harbour Bridge and past the Opera House before disembarking at Circular Quay where your tour will conclude at approx 5pm (depending on traffic and ferry).

Best Day Ever! Wow! What an awesome day at the Sydney: Blue Mountains Guided Tour, Scenic World & Lunch - Anderson Tours, with our wonderful and very informative guide Steve who went above and beyond to make sure we had the best day ever! The Blue Mountains were absolutely breathtaking and serene, the rides at Scenic World were exhilarating, Lunch was so delicious and the Featherdale Wildlife Park had an excellent array of Australian native animals. And to top off our memorable day the ferry ride back was very relaxing - a great end to a perfect day! A huge Thank You also to Steve’s dedicated wife Belinda for the lollies: the blackcurrant jubes were my favourite! Kind Regards Sandy and Chelsea :)

This tour was a blast!! Chris was the funniest, knowledgeable, interesting guide I ever had. His stories are the best and he will take you to places other tours won’t go as well as the common sights at slightly off times, hence you can enjoy more peace and quiet. Book this tour and just enjoy this fun ride. You can check him out on yt too! Raman hunter is his tag. He is really really great!

With the hop on hop off bus you can discover the Blue Mountains at your own pace. At the booking office they gave a good explanation of what you could best visit when.
