Departing at 8:00 AM, from your Ho Chi Minh City hotel, heading to the Mekong Delta by minivan or bus. During the 1.5 hour drive, pass by green rice fields before arriving at the beautiful rural My Tho. Your morning trip continues from here by motorized boat on the Tien River to the Qui (Tortoise Islet). On the way, see the fishing port, boat-building workshops, and the Dragon, Phoenix and Unicorn Islet. Walk into the village, where you can visit a local fruit garden and enjoy the tropical fruit while listening to Southern Vietnamese folk music performed by islanders. Here you also can join daily activities of the local people and take in the atmosphere of this beautiful natural countryside. Visit the bee house, and take the picture of the pythons. Lunch will be served right in the heart of the orchard garden. The boat cruise will lead you through Bao Dinh canal, entering Ben Tre province — "the land of coconuts." Here you'll see a typical agricultural model called "Garden - Pond – Cage,” before visiting the coconut candy-making shop. On day 1, start your day with an 8:30 AM pick-up from your centrally located hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. Then head to the city of My Tho by bus. During the 1.5-hour bus drive to My Tho, learn about the cultures of the local people and enjoy the nice scenery of green rice fields. Visit Vinh Trang pagoda, the biggest pagoda in Mekong Delta. Continue to My Tho and take a boat trip along Mekong River. During the cruise, see fish cages and floating houses on the river. The boat will take you to a small canal, where you can escape the busy town. The cruise through the coconut trees lined canal will take you to a coconut island in Ben Tre. We made the tour with our guide Tu. He's a very cheerful person, was always open to our questions and shared so many interesting facts about Vietnamese culture with us. I loved how diverse the tour was with its many different activities, food and even some crafts presentations. Maybe the condition of the bicycles could have been a little better (the brakes didn't work properly and the saddles weren't really adjusted), but that's just a minor point. The kayaking part was all the more entertaining. :)

It was a really interesting tour, seeing the floating markets was the most interesting activity for me. Our guide Ben told us many interesting stories about life and people in Vietnam and we could ask everything we wanted to know. Tasting all the fruits was amazing!

The tour was very well organised and great value for money. Our tour guide Fu speaks very good English and was very friendly and knowledgeable. We had a great time and would certainly go another tour with this company.

We were very lucky to be the last ones before close the place because of the corona virus. We enjoyed every moments.
