After your arrival to the premises, you will be invited to see Kanda Myojin, which is a famous shrine of both the area and Japan. The shrine has a reputation for being prosperous to both business and marriage. Following that, you will be invited to enter the restaurant, which is located on the same site. Following your arrival, enjoy a drink, dinner, or snack (if option chosen) until the show begins. From 8:00PM, you will enjoy a samurai show that can only be seen in Japan. At the show's conclusion, the samurai will come out to the audience, at which point you will be invited to take a picture together free of charge.

Asakusa: Live music dinner after history tour

2. Asakusa: Live music dinner after history tour

1) After having an in-depth Asakusa history tour, we will take you to a Japanese restaurant for live performance of traditional Japanese musical instruments over dinner. Since it is a small restaurant with a limited number of seats, the performance is presented just in front of you. Enjoy the powerful but adroit performance in close proximity to the musicians. 2) And of course, the tour preceding the visit to the restaurant is one of a kind; an in-depth history tour in Asakusa. 3) If the group size is 3 or more, we will use an earphone guide system which enables you to clearly listen to the guide from a distance.

What people are saying about Tokyo

I had a wonderful time on this tour! For starters, the company had to shift the specifics of the tour due to the previous restaurant closing due to COVID, and they dealt with all of those logistics and worked with me to find a new date that worked for me. The tour guide, Yoko, is very knowledgeable and kind, giving an overview of the history of Asakusa and answering a variety of other questions I had about the area. She was also willing to adjust the tour somewhat based on my interests, which was great, and happily helped take some photos and sent them to me afterward. Then the dinner at the restaurant was delicious and the Shamisen performance was absolutely incredible. Honestly had a great time and would readily recommend this tour for folks interested in getting to know Asakusa and some Japanese history.

Great experience! We showed up at 7pm and were offered drinks immediately by friendly staff. Dinner was served shortly after which was excellent. Drinks were promptly refilled as the cast came around to introduce themselves. Make sure to order a refill drink right before the show because service finishes when the show begins. The show begins promptly at 8pm and was excellent. There are only a few words spoken which are in Japanese but you can follow along without translation, it’s more about the presentation than the story. After the show, you’re invited on stage to a picture with the cast if you want. I didn’t know what to expect when booking this tour but was definitely happy with it as was my 15 year old niece. The entire staff and cast were so friendly.

Very fun evening and great performance. Excellent modern version of Samurai story. Entire staff was very friendly and made a wonderful experience. Loved how intimate and personal it was.

The cast told the story from the first second in there dance The meal was great

Great way of experience Japanese culture, definitely recommend it.
