The most fun I’ve ever had!! Don’t hesitate to book this! Our guide Dan(imal) was absolutely hilarious! I felt safe the entire excursion and I had so much fun! We were always told what to do in the rapids and everything went well, no one got injured! Even though the rapid is 4/5 scale, it wasn’t too scary at all for a beginner! Know this: you can’t take your phones to the rafting, but if you have a gopro, you can take it and install it in your helmet. There is also a photographer taking pictures of everyone along the way and the pics are being shown and sold after the excursion while having dinner (dinner could have been slightly bigger tbh). Pro tip: Take in consideration that the way from Cairns to Tully is 2h one-way, so if you want to save some time sitting in the bus and also want to visit a lovely small town before/after Cairns, please go to Mission Beach and do this excursion from there!

We had a great couple of hours River Rafting in Tully. Our guide was James and he was great. It was pissing it down with rain ALL day but it didn’t affect the activity whatsoever. The water levels were high and good fun. Not as rapid as we expected though - perhaps because the water levels were so high? We were also told we would be on the water for 3/4 hours but it was only actually 2 hours so that’s why I haven’t given 5 stars. Best to do this activity from nearer Tully as we went from Cairns and you spend most of your day on the bus rather than actually river rafting. Dinner was tasty!
