On day 1, following an early pick-up from your hotel or accommodation in Douz, meet your Bedouin cameleers and begin your camel trek. Enjoy riding the camel through the fascinating views of the golden dunes and the amazing landscape which will change as the day progresses. At midday, break for lunch. While the chef prepares a delicious meal, take the opportunity to take photos of the impressive desert. After lunch, continue your journey and ride the camel til sunset. Watch the amazing sight of the sun setting behind the golden dunes. Arrive at the desert camp, and sit down for a traditional Berber dinner with famous flatbread prepared on an open fire. Spend the night under the starry Saharan sky, drumming around the fire. In the early morning, enjoy the charming sunrise as you eat a Berber breakfast. Continue to ride the camel through the remarkable dunes and fantastic landscape, from there, your Tunisian desert adventure will wind to a close. Trek back to the initial meeting point, where your return transportation to Douz awaits.

Day 1: Your tour will begin as you depart from your hotel to Tataouine. You will then begin by crossing Roman Road, the structure that connects the island to continental Africa. You will then take a break at the salt lake of Chahbania to enjoy the view and to take photos. Following this, you will enjoy a 40-minute stroll in the streets of Tataouine's market to discover the Berber products and spices for sale. You will then head to the village of Chenini, where you will enjoy a walk to discover it with a local guide. At midday, you will taste the flavors of a local meal in a Berber restaurant. Following lunch, you will cross the Erg (or the desert of rocks) and head to Ksar Ghilane. Upon your arrival you can enjoy a swim in its natural water spray, in an area located between the greenery of the oasis and the yellow color of the sand dunes. Whilst at this location there will also be the possibility of taking a camel ride tour or a quad-bike tour of the dunes (not included). By the end of the day, you will go to your camp to enjoy one of the best sunsets of Southern Tunisia. At the camp, you will have a tent, be able to take a shower, and can also experience the preparation of "sand bread" just before dinner. Following dinner, you will enjoy free time to admire the starry sky in the silence of the desert. Day 2: Following breakfast, you will head to Matmata, the troglodyte village. Your first stop will be to the Berber village of Tamazret, where you can taste an "amandes" tea. Following the break, you will visit a Berber family at their underground house, where you will enjoy an authentic local lunch. Following lunch you will head to Sidi Idriss, a troglodyte hotel where some scenes of the Star Wars film had been shot, and where we can still find some film decor. The final visit of the day will be to the Berber village of Toujane, which is hidden between two mountains and famous for handmade carpets and honey. At the end of the day, you will be returned safely to your hotel with a head full of great memories.

Start your visit with the Dune Sea, the Krayt Dragon Ridge and the location of the igloo of Lars Family Homestead exterior on the Chott El Jerid. The location was also used in Attack of the Clones and the final shot of Revenge of the Sith. Continue across Mides and travel to ‘Star Wars canyon’ where 9 scenes were filmed including: when the Jawas were attacked and buried, Jawa Rock, and the scenes of the Tusken Raiders. Return back to Nefta and travel to the Mos Espa film site beautifully located amongst the Sahara dunes. Here, find the Pod-racing arena, the Mos Espa streets, Watto’s shop, market, and Sebulba’s Café. East of the set you will find the Yardangs, where the Jedi fight between Qui-Gon and Darth Maul in Episode I was filmed. It was also the location of the Queen’s Royal Starship. Finish the tour with a look at Ong Jemel ‘the neck of the camel’ where Darth Maul arrives on Tatooine and releases the Sith Probes. After finding Anakin and Qui-Gon, Darth Maul is seen flying over the cliffs.

The day begins with pickup from your Tunis hotel and heads off on the 25 minute trip to Carthage. Arrive in this charming seaside suburb and enjoy a guided tour, marvelling at ancient landmarks and sweeping views of the coast. Learn how Carthage was destroyed by the Romans in 146 B.C. but that excavations since have revealed homes, sewage systems, and the remains of the city walls. Continue the tour to the picturesque Sidi-Bou-Said next, boasting panoramic views across the Mediterranean. Stop for lunch at a local restaurant and get a taste of regional cuisine. The final stop of the day is the bustling Tunis Medina, a UNESCO listed location. Wander around the array of colorful stalls and soak up the unique mix of sights and scents. Mingle with the locals as you follow your guide towards the Al-Zaytuna Mosque at the center of the Medina. At the end of an unforgettable day, enjoy drop-off back to your hotel.

Head to southern Tunisia's natural gems and oasis refuges of Chebika, Tamerza, and Mides with the help of a private driver on a half-day trip from Tozeur. Stop in Chebika to see a wadi that runs down the side of a steep mountain, forming waterfalls and rivulets. Listen carefully to hear the frogs that have called the area home.  From Chebika go to the ruins of Tamerza for a stunning view of the surrounding mountains. End your trip with a stop at Mides for spectacular views and see how the river below has carved its way through cliffs to create the present-day gorge.

Get off the beaten track and discover the oasis of Ksar Ghilane. Enjoy scenic views as you travel along the Roman road, and keep an eye out for flocks of sheep and even camels. Visit local villages and savor a freshly made tea at a local's home. After pickup at your hotel, leave the island of Djerba and travel to Ksar Ghilane. Upon arrival, take a swim in the thermal spring nestled amid a grove of date palms. Relax completely in water that's warm enough to be utterly soothing yet still offers respite from the desert heat. Next, enjoy some free time to take a walk on the dunes, go for a camel ride, or explore the dunes on a quad tour before sitting down to a local meal around the hot spring. After lunch, return to the jeep and head to the Berber village of Matmata. Stop in the village of Tamazret, a village flooded in 1969 where only a few families still live. Continue to discover a troglodyte home where your Berber host will welcome you with a warming tea of rosemary, olive oil, and honey that he has prepared himself. After this meeting, make your way to Djerba with a final stop at Toujane, a Berber village of ocher color hidden discreetly between two mountains.

Explore the history of Tunisia on this half-day tour to Carthage and Sidi Bou Said from Tunis. First you’ll visit Carthage, founded in 814 B.C. The earliest settlements can still be seen on Byrsa Hill, just below the renowned Carthage National Museum. See the remains of two port basins, evidence of Carthaginian mastery of the sea. Discover the Tophet, a burial ground and a sanctuary of ancient deities.   Continue to Sidi Bou Said, a 5-kilometer drive from Carthage. This picturesque town is perched high on a cliff top overlooking the Mediterranean. Wander around the boutiques and shop for souvenirs, or relax in a Moorish cafe. Afterwards you’ll be dropped off back in Tunis.

After pickup from your hotel, set sail from the marina at 9 AM and head out toward Flamingo Island aboard your pirate ship. Sit back and relax with music and entertainment shows that the crew will propose. Spot some dolphins, if you're lucky, and attend a traditional fishing session. Upon arrival on Flamingo Island, enjoy some time to swim and tan before lunch. At noon, savor a delightful lunch in a lovely setting. The menu includes grilled fish, Tunisian salad, brick Tunisian couscous, cola, mint tea, and fruits of the season. After lunch, spend some more time enjoying the entertainment or return to the shore. After being picked up from your Tunis accommodation, set off for Kairouan. Start your tour with a visit to the last 2 9th-century Aghlabite Basins which were among the greatest waterworks of the Middle Ages. Witness the monuments from the top of the Tourist Information Building as you gain an introduction to the foundation of Kairouan and its glorious age. After this, continue the tour with a visit to the 7th-century Great Okba Mosque, the oldest mosque in North Africa. Appreciate the powerful and beautiful expression of faith inherent in the 9th-century architecture. Proceed to the nearby Sidi Sahbi, to visit the 17th-19th century building known for its minaret and beautiful courtyards lined with green-blue tile work and white plaster stucco. Then, arrive at the entrance to the Medina for a guided walk through the main street and up to the mystical "Bir Barrouta". Spend some free time strolling through the Medina and shopping. Stop for lunch at a local restaurant.  Up next, climb back into the vehicle and be transferred to the El Jem amphitheater, one of Tunisia's most visited sites.  Discover all about this monument, built in the 3rd century and still the largest Roman monument left in Africa. Marvel at its architecture. Finally, visit the Sousse Old Medina and the Port of El Kantaoui. Head back to Tunis and be dropped off at your accommodation in the city.
