Bali: Sunrise Mount Batur Hike with Breakfast

1. Bali: Sunrise Mount Batur Hike with Breakfast

Embark on a guided hike up Mount Batur on a day trip from Bali. Watch the sunrise from the top, tuck into a delicious breakfast, and take a trip to a coffee plantation afterwards. Begin your ascent at the base of Mount Batur after an optional early pickup from your accommodation. You’ll even start your jungle trek on an exclusive path with fewer trekkers around. Savor the pristine night sky away from the city lights as you hike. After a 2-hour trek, you’ll then be rewarded at the top with sunrise views over the natural landscape and ocean horizon. And even better, you get to enjoy breakfast at the volcano’s summit.  On the way down, you’ll enjoy more vistas, such as Lake Batur, an enormous volcanic crater lake.  You’ll also have the opportunity to stop off for a cup of local Luwak coffee at a coffee plantation before being dropped off back at your accommodation or meeting point. Before and after your hike, enjoy the exclusive use of Mt. Batur Lounge, the only villa-style lounge around with clean, modern toilets and a comfortable shower facility. After refreshing yourself in the showers, enjoy a hot cup of tea or coffee in the lounge.

Bali: Mount Batur Sunrise Hike and Natural Hot Spring

2. Bali: Mount Batur Sunrise Hike and Natural Hot Spring

Hike up the stunning Mount Batur on an early sunrise trek to its summit. Follow your guide up the mountain, enjoying a well-earned breakfast at the top while you watch the brilliant colors of the sunrise. Top off your active morning with a soak in a natural hot spring and an invigorating coffee plantation visit. Before and after your hike, relax in the Mt. Batur Lounge, the only villa-style lounge around with clean, modern toilets and a comfortable shower facility. Meet directly at the location or get an early morning pickup from your hotel in Bali (depending on the option selected), in time to watch the sunrise from the top of Mount Batur. Depart at the time you selected (also depending on the location of your hotel), and then journey towards the active volcano near the village of Kintamani. Upon arrival at Mount Batur, get a short introduction and safety briefing from your guide. All the guides are locals with experience climbing Mount Batur since they were children. Benefit from their extensive knowledge and passion for the region before you embark on your 1.5-hour trek to the highest volcanic crater in Bali in time to watch the sunrise. Upon arrival at the top, enjoy breakfast and take in the amazing views of the surrounding area during the break of the day. After sunrise, enjoy some time to walk around the crater of the volcano before crossing a hill of lava and black sand. Trek back down the mountain, and then soothe away your aches and pains at a natural hot spring. If you choose to meet at Mt Batur Lounge, you'll get dropped off at the Mt Batur Lounge. Great way to check out so many sights in Ubud. We were lucky to have a very knowledgeable and friendly tour guide - Peter. He made the day so easy and it never felt like we were rushing. He knew when to give us space and when to give us information about the attraction we were visiting. I'd recommend him as a tour guide to anyone looking to check out any sights in Bali!

I had a fantastic experience. My guide was Desna and he displayed a great knowledge of the culture and history of the area. He checked repeatedly make sure that both he and the site visits were meeting my expectations. The site visits were all interesting and beautiful. I would recommend this tour without hesitation.
