This was such a wonderful experience! Although the markets closed due to weather, Lara offered to take me to do a wine tasting or chocolate tasting instead. The meal she cooked was absolutely amazing and included all traditional foods with well sourced ingredients! After the meal, Lara also graciously took me to a local museum. She offered to take me wherever I needed to go after, and provided me with detailed recommendations of things to do in the city Perugia. This was an amazing, truly authentic experience and was so worth the price. Lara was very personable and I felt that we connected very well. I would recommend this to anyone interested in an authentic food experience for the Umbria region! I am not sure how other hosts would compare, so ask for Lara when you book!:)
