This was certainly an experience I would never forget! Florence, our guide, was incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and accommodating. We had a chance to get to Aix early enough to frequent the market and Florence continuously gave us good tips on shops and streets to check out along the way. Everything about seeing the lavender fields in person with your own two eyes is simply surreal. It is better than any postcard, that’s for sure! I loved the small villages and towns that we visited and ending our tour with a demonstration of organic lavender products made on site, complete with olive oil and almond tastings, was a perfect way to finish the day. I HIGHLY recommend this day trip!

Wow! What an incredible experience. The scenery is breathtaking! The lavender fields and wheat fields are so colorful. We visited a lavender farm and learned about different types of lavender and their uses. In the afternoon, we went to the Verdun Gorge which is another incredibly beautiful place.

The tour was rerouted as a result of the extreme heat which forced farmers in Valensole to harvest early. Even still, the tour was absolutely incredible. A bucket list item for several decades, I had very high expectations for this tour and they were exceeded.

This was truly a great trip! There was a lot of variety (lavender fields, adorable towns, beautiful lake and gorge stops!) and we loved being able to see so much. Our guide Remy was knowledgeable, fun, and so accommodating! Would absolutely recommend!

Very good choice for one day trip with variety activities in small group.
