What people are saying about Valley of the Kings

We started the day with the hot air ballon, the transportation to the ballon was very smooth and the trip ones inside the hot air ballon was UNFORGETTABLE. Later we continue with the tour to the Valle of the Kings and temples. Our guide was Ahmed Kassem, we really enjoy the time with him, he explained everything very good and answer every question we had, we had other guides in Egypt, and this one we can say WAS THE BEST ONE!

We booked the private tour. Even though the hot air balloon got cancelled due to weather conditions, our tour operator, Marina was very responsive and supportive and we did it the day after. The whole tour was very well organized, our guide, Soma was knowledgeable and the felucca ride was the best way to end our tour. Highly recommended for travelers with short stay in Luxor!

We started at the valley of the kings where we could see 3-4 tombs - absolutely amazing. We next visited a local craftsmen workshop and headed to the valley of the queens. Unfortunately the main attraction there - Nefertari's tomb - was closed, but it was still interesting. We finished with a nice lunch. The guide (Beshoy) was really good and efficient. We recommend.

Our activity was a grand adventure. Our balloon took a strong wind and we ended up landing on a farm. Local farmers and workers for the hot air balloon company ran out and guided us to safety. It was unexpected, but handled well. The views were spectacular! We took the 6:00 am launch and didn’t regret the extra hour of sleep.

we really liked being up in the air and boat rides across the river. the only downside was the sudden surge of kids selling their wares when we landed.
