The tour itself was great but it could have easily turned into an organizational disaster. At the meeting point we received the tickets with QR codes and once we lined up to enter the basilica, the group before us and our group too realized that the tickets are for two separate dates (My daughter and I got tickets for the chosen date and my husband for the day after). And the guide was saying there’s nothing he can do about it because the number of tickets for that day is already sold out. I mean, hello?!? Who’s fault is that? We paid 78eur per person and this is how they messed up?! Luckily there was this wonderful couple who agreed to replace their tickets for the day after since they were staying few more days. We have acquired tour tickets from Get Your Guide many, many times before and we have never been failed except this one time. In the end it all turned up well but only due to that couple that I mentioned.

This was BY FAR the best deal for the money of our entire time in Venice. We were fortunate to have an accordion and a singer in our boat who sang for the small group of boats with us. I only wish I’d remembered to bring the Prosecco.

Very nice way to see the islands and learn about Venice. The boat was the perfect size for a group of 20 or so and was beautiful and very clean.

Good to know that even with advance tickets, there is likely to be a line, although it moves fairly quickly.

Our driver was very good. Informative but not chatty. Very relaxing.
