  • Venice: Traveling Opera in a Historic Palace on Grand Canal

    2. Venice: Traveling Opera in a Historic Palace on Grand Canal

Experience Italian Opera in one of the most important Venetian-Gothic style palaces in Venice, Palazzo Barbarigo-Minotto. Within this historical venue, an innovative approach to opera has been conceived, with a formula that focuses on the interaction between the singers, the musicians, and the audience. This gives spectators the feeling of living Opera ‘from the inside’. This sensation is amplified by the clever 360-degree use of the ‘stage’ and by having the guests move through 3 different rooms within the Palazzo, one for each act of the show. The whole setting changes, not just the background. Reviving a tradition dating back to the late 1800s, this reimagining is brought to life by some of the finest lyrical voices, accompanied by a talented small group of strings and a piano: a virtuoso ensemble who performed in some of the most prestigious concert halls in the world. Opera offer...

This was a truly unforgettable experience. The intimate setting made us feel like we were in the opera with them, watching the story unfold up close. Beautiful and captivating. Highly recommend!

We really hope to see you guys again some time in the furure!

We love, love, loved this private food tour. We have some dietary restrictions and Giada was able to accommodate with some excellent tastes. Giada was very knowledgeable about the area and the best places to find delicious food. We would highly recommend this tour to all visitors of the Venice area. This was our third trip to Venice and we walked away feeling like we understood the city and the food options so much more.

I was worried about the reviews saying it was too short but I feel that we got to see all the necessary points plus some. I went with my 7 year old and she was exhausted by the end. Andrea was full of information and he spoke great english. He was very personable and easy to talk to. He even got the whole group to sing for my birthday, which made it extra special.

It was unbelievable the venue looks amazing, the food was delicious and the performance as they said it’s better once to see then hundred times to hear. Singers just stole my heart. Highly recommended for everyone who wants to enjoy vacation and makes staying in Venice something special and worth telling
