Full description
Enjoy a half-day excursion from Venice to the islands of Murano and Burano in the Venetian lagoon. Your tour starts out from St. Mark's Square, where you’ll board a boat that will take you to the northern part of the lagoon. During the crossing, some commentary about the area will be provided in English, Spanish, French, German, and Italian. Murano Island is the first stop, a place that’s world-famous for its glass production. You’ll have a chance to visit a glass factory and observe a local artist giving shape to a work of art in glass. Afterwards, you’ll have some free time to explore the island and take in the picturesque views. Next stop is Burano, one of the most beautiful and peaceful islands in the lagoon. Burano is well known for its colorful houses and long tradition of lace production. You’ll have enough free time here for a walk around the island to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, before the boat returns to Venice.

Excellent way to visit the 2 islands, seeing the essentials. We are a family with 2 young people and we really enjoyed it. I would also add that I broke my foot during the holidays and that I used crutches and a wheelchair and the visit is perfectly adapted to the situation.

I wouldn’t bother doing this tour. You can get an unlimited Venice water bus pass and go to Burano and Murano on your own schedule. They don’t give your enough time in Murano and we probably would have felt the same in Burano. We took the boat to Murano for the glass blowing show and then went on our own schedule after since we had the unlimited pass.

Beautiful tour obviously marked on the tourist front for buying glass products in Murano. In fact, after the demonstration of glass processing, access to the shop for the purchase of products from a few euros to real works of art even worth a thousand euros. Burano, a beautiful island with the sale of linen clothing which, in my opinion, is too expensive. Nice places anyway
