The tour takes place at a Murano glass factory on St. Mark's Square in central Venice, where you will be told about the origins of glass blowing, and learn how Murano became the center of glass-making when the Venetian Republic ordered all the foundries relocate to protect the wooden buildings of the main city from catching fire. Murano glassmakers became the most important citizens of Venice, and throughout the ages they refined their techniques thanks to trading between the Venetian Republic and the countries of the Middle and Far East. The glass blowing activity was excellent as well as Rene who guided us to our location. He was very accommodating and knowledgeable. The glass blower was very impressive. The lady that led us from place to place was friendly and her demonstrations helped us understand the history as well as appreciate the difficulty of this art form!

Very interesting!

Booked the tour the day before. It was a short but interesting tour. On top of that you get a small gift;) The boss, who explained the glass blowing, could not only Italian, but also German, English and French. Questions you had were also answered very well. I would book the tour again!

they solved the problem

Although we did not have the interpreter in Spanish, I don't know why, we arrived five minutes late (instead of 15 minutes before we went 10 minutes before) and when they came to find us they had already done the demonstration. They gave us explanations, which we did not understand, but they returned to do the demonstration for us. So I value the master craftsman.
