Full description
The best perspective to admire Venice is from the water, and a gondola is the most traditional and unique way to do this. Discover the city throughout a 45-minute tour, experiencing how Venetians moved from one district to another in the past. Your gondola journey begins a few steps away from St. Mark's Square, before crossing hidden inner canals which will allow you to admire views which go unnoticed to the eye when walking through the city center. This special ride will also let you marvel at the majestic Rialto Bridge, which is one of the most ancient and famous bridges in Venice. At the conclusion of your ride, return back to St. Mark's Square to disembark your vessel and bid your gondolier farewell.

We spontaneously wanted to postpone the trip due to the rain, which we were verbally assured. Due to the high price, we were initially worried that this promise would not be kept and that we would be left without a trip and money. But everything worked out great, including customer service with the hotline. Therefore very satisfied, absolutely serious. Sure, not cheap, but you can definitely treat yourself to a trip to Venice! The driver spoke great English and was very friendly!

This trip takes you through a few small canals onto the main canal and then back in. It’s just a small round trip. We booked 45 min but I think it was the same route as 30min. Just slower. No passing of the Rialto bridge in this tour. We paid 175 euro, which is probably way too much. Better ask around when you are there. For a better price and better route.

The gondola ride was great, it was neither short nor long, so the perfect length. It was easy to find the starting point of the tour. What I liked the least was that the gondolier did not speak at all during the whole trip, neither to explain anything we saw nor to sing something (not all gondoliers sing or explain things to you, but we came across several who did. ). In general, I really enjoyed the experience and if the gondolier had put in a little more than his part it would have been perfect!
