My friend and I had a fantastic experience learning the ins and outs of Venetian cuisine and trying our hand at making cicchetti, ravioli, tagliatelle, and Italian cookies with the group! Our instructor was well prepared, pleasant to learn from, and more than qualified to share her expertise in the kitchen (she’s won multiple local cooking competitions!). We highly recommend this opportunity to cook and eat delicious food in the heart of Venice!

The class was extremely well-planned and included thoughtfull extra touches to make the experience truly enjoyable. It was hands-on enough to ensure that you feel confident recreating the recipes on your own, but also allowed plenty of breathing space to relax, observe and listen. I half wish I brought a note-book to capture all the extra tips, recipies and general know-how that was shared along the way. The atmosphere was of spending an afternoon eating, drinking and learning with friends - which is extra fun for a solo traveler. I highly recommened this class (and the food!!).

Chef Carolyn is an excellent teacher providing us with wonderful cooking lessons, funny stories and a superb lunch we helped make. She is a generous thoughtful teacher who clearly wants her students to learn. I enjoyed every minute and will definitely sign up again next time I’m in Venice.
