    Meet the expert local food guide and begin the day with a nice espresso and pastries, then continue walking through the streets of old city to the different stops, including a real 'bottega' to taste some local cheese and salami, and homemade bread. Afterwards, visit other local places to taste some typical Italian food, including wine. This is very important, because Verona is the Capital of wine in Italy. Try some Valpolicella wines, while hearing interesting stories behind the different flavors. Finish your food journey with some delicious gelato. The guide will conclude the tour with recommendations of other local food, and historical places to visit. Here you can learn about Veronese and Italian eno-gastronomic culture. During the tour, discover the historical old town strolling through hidden small streets like locals do, trying to find special places that you would never find alone.

    My husband and I booked the food and wine tour as part of our honeymoon and we were not disappointed! We were met by the lovely Isabella and we were the only 2 people on the tour, she made it so personal for us and she was a wonderful guide! We started off our experience at a local cafe, had a coffee and traditional Italian pastry right outside the arena. We then went on to a local Osteria where we drank a lovely glass of white wine and shared some tapas which was fab! Isabella then took us to a pasta place where we chose 4 types of handmade tortellini, they were all delicious! Following on from that, we were taken to a wine shop where we met Franco and he let us try 4 different wines, along with bread/salami and local cheese. We finished our tour at a gelateria and tried 2 flavours of ice cream. It was an incredible experience and we would recommend to anyone visiting Verona! Rachel and Matt - England

    Benedetta was a perfect guide, she took us around to some amazing food and drink places that we would like to visit again. She is very knowledgeable about certain monuments and if you have any questions about store specific items she translates for you with store staff. All around funny and amazing ☺️

    A wonderful and intimate tour with a very funny guide named Diana. It’s really worth the money and I think Diana has a lot of knowledge about wine. I’m a beginner but she managed to explain it all very well anyway! I tour of the city-light witch was perfect for us ’cause we’re not that interested in history. Also good tips at places to go and where to eat and What to see in Verona!
