This original street art tour takes you on a journey of Melbourne’s famous street art laneways as well as venturing off the beaten track to discover the CBD’s hidden treasures. Learn all about the artists and stories behind the artworks from artists directly involved in the scene. The tour finishes at the famous Blender Studios where you will be treated to an exclusive studio tour and be able to meet the artists and see them at work in our huge art studio warehouse. A gourmet selection of market fresh produce, beer, wine and softdrinks are provided as you wander through this incredible space. The tour route will be modified and updated regularly, considering the ever-changing nature of Street Art.

Explore the eastern side of the Melbourne Central Business District, home to some of our most famous and interesting laneways. This is the side of Melbourne most tourists and some locals never see.  Learn about the earliest founders, the cause of Melbourne love affair – and later fall out – with drinking, the rise of street art, a tragic case of miscarried justice, the 1851 gold rush, secret men’s clubs, and much more. Stop for drinks at three of Melbourne’s best bars, plus pass by a dozen or so more for you to jot down and visit another time. Spend about 30-45 minutes in each bar so you are not feeling rushed. Finally, receive a mystery gift at the end of the tour.

Start your tour at the Eureka Skydeck, an 88-story skyscraper that is home to stunning views of the city. Your guide will bring you to the top of the tower, pointing out key points of interest in the city and previewing where you will go next. Your guide will explain how the movement has developed, exploring the work of these back alley artists until you’ve worked up an appetite. Your guide will take you to their favorite local restaurant for a hearty sample of one of the many cuisines Melbourne is known for. Here, your guide will tell you about the numerous waves of migrants, who have helped to create the Melbourne we see today. After you’ve finished eating, you'll grab a coffee and your guide will explain what makes Melbourne coffee unique. Finish with a tram ride down to Melbourne's iconic Queen Victoria Market, where your guide will introduce you to the market and then leave you to explore on your own. By the end of your tour, you’ll be able to spot amazing art, cafes, restaurants, and bars like a local. Explore Collingwood and discover how it is also a neighborhood with history around every corner with a strong local community. Start off your walking tour with delicious coffee and croissant and then hit the streets to discover street art, art galleries, and historic shopping streets.  After beginning the tour with a freshly roasted coffee and in-house baked croissant at social enterprise cafe, set off to explore the backstreets to a historic brewery site. Explore Smith Street, a historically significant shopping street, and visit the new development area of the Arts Precinct with an abundance of art galleries close by. Along the way discover another side to Collingwood and hear about the waves of migration to the area and take in the impressive mural on the nearby housing commission towers which is one of the largest of it's kind anywhere in the world. See one of the most iconic live music venues in Melbourne and visit the incredible nearby Keith Haring mural. Finish the tour at a unique, local restaurant where you can try some of their tasty food if you're feeling hungry (at your own expense). You’ve escaped your foster home to track down your godmother who always encouraged your art, but lost touch after your dying mother pushed everyone away. Solve challenges to see the rest of the story unfold. Start at Hosier Lane. From there, simply follow the game route and instructions. Explore at your own pace: pause the game and resume anytime from any location where you paused it. As you solve challenges, directions on your phone will guide you to the next location. Walk to Melbourne’s famous works of street art such as the never enough mural, sovereignty mural, and more. Learn about the iconic murals of the CBD, Fitzroy, and Collingwood.
