Witness the iconic South Point, the southernmost tip of mainland Australia and cruise into the waters of Bass Strait and Victoria's first marine national park. Discover a rugged and raw coast like no other as you explore The Glennies, Anderson Islets, and Anser Island. Marvel at the prehistoric boulders of Mount Oberon, situated behind the white quartz sands of Norman Beach, before uncovering the iconic granite monolith that is Skull Rock. Sculpted by waves and surrounded by crystal blue waters, Skull Rock's eerie facade becomes even more mysterious as more skull shapes reveal themselves the closer you get. 2. Sorrento: 1.5-Hour Dolphin and Seal Eco Adventure Cruise

On board the swift eco boat, cruise by the glorious coast of the Mornington Peninsula. Explore 20-million-year-old sandy cliffs, immaculate holiday homes, and pristine beaches. The coastline is part of the Point Nepean National Park and Port Phillip Bay, home to a variety of wildlife including seals, dolphins, occasional migrating whales, and over 70 different species of seabird. Tour Port Phillip Bay and cruise by the Ticonderoga Bay Dolphin Sanctuary as you look at the cliffs leading to Point Nepean and the original defense forts precinct built to guard the entrance to Port Phillip Bay. Known as The Rip, this is where the waters of the bay meet the seas of Bass Strait. Passing by protected marine parks and Ramsar Convention wetlands, you'll enjoy 360-degree views from the open vessel. During the summer months, the migratory shearwater birds congregate en masse with thousands upon thousands of birds rafting together on the water's surface. Australian fur seals, once hunted excessively for their pelts, are now fully protected and enjoy resting on a manmade haul-out platform in the bay. Here the seals get out of the water and rest after days of fishing. Seeing them up close you will be mesmerized by their presence and adore their features. From around June through to August (winter), along the southern coast of Victoria, the waters are home to the migration passages of whales. Sightings of humpback, southern right and killer whales are increasing year on year. Visits into Port Phillip Bay are becoming more frequent and it's possible to gain some amazing sightings.

What people are saying about Victoria, Australia

Have been on previous cruises with the same company on three occasions from Bruny Island, this is the first time out of Tidal River. The ribs that are used are a unique vessel , fast , maneuverable and safe in most weather conditions. The Tidal River vessels are unique again in that they that they have wheels and can enter the sea negating the need to build a jetty. An ATV is parked alongside the vessel that is equipped with steps that make it easy to get on board. The area on the west side of the Prom is studded with Islands , these vessels enable viewing of a number of Island , some inhabited by seals but the most spectacular being Skull Rock. You will need to don the cape provided as occasionally spray will break over the side. The vessel I was on was skippered by Sam who not only navigated the vessel but gave informative details of what we were viewing.Fantastic experience is a most unique vessel with an excellent skipper and crew.. Highly recommend.

Boat, gear and staff first rate and the scenery spectacular. Dolphins and seals pretty good too. Weather cold! The cruise should be on everyone's bucket list.

Had an absolutely amazing time. The boat ride was fun, the guides were great and it was just a beautiful one of a kind experience that I highly recommend.

The Mother Nature is amazing which must to be seen with your own eyes. The guiders’ explanation are actively and detailed. It is definitely worth it.

Very good accommodation; good area for walks, hikes, climbing.
