The roots of viticulture here go as far back as the Romans, who populated the city two thousand years ago.  But what exactly is left of the former empire in Vienna today and how is that related to Viennese wine? Get to the bottom of these questions in the truest sense of the word with a guided wine tasting in the city's deepest and non-public wine cellar.  A professional wine expert will lead you into the cellar to taste three different wines. The wines range from classic Viennese wines to other Austrian wines, which will, of course, be paired with a small snack from the in-house, family-owned delicatessen.

What people are saying about Vienna

This truly a great experience on Dec 25th. The concert combines classical music with ballet and opera, and it was truly a great performance and selection of musical pieces. The dinner was excellent, with tasty very well presented menu,, plus red or white wine. The venue was a spectacular reception hall, with a very skilled performing pianist who enchanted us with some jazz and Christmas tunes. Great value, totally worth it.

I loved the whole experience. It was very informative, and a fun thing to do. The employees and owner were really nice and helpful, I would highly recommend doing this activity. If you have children it’s kid friendly but I don’t recommend for children under 6 years old. The place was very sanitary and clean.

It was a perfect addition to our Christmas Day plans. My family enjoyed seeing all the people wave back at us as we traveled around Vienna.

Wonderful experience. Dinner very good except for dessert. Concert was brilliant. Highly recommend

Fantastic experience. A must do in Vienna. Very close up and personal. The chef was fabulous.
