With the Vienna City Card, you can go anywhere in Austria's beautiful capital city. Just validate your pass at the nearest ticket machine and head out on your way! Upon validation, you'll have 24, 48 or 72 hours to explore the entire city with free and unlimited access to public transportation, including the metro, trams, regional trains, buses, and night buses (zone 100). The Vienna City Card also lets you visit some of the city's most important sights. Get discounts at plenty of Vienna's museums, exhibitions, theatres, concerts, shops, cafés, restaurants, and wine taverns. Vienna is waiting for you! If you're traveling with your family, you're in luck as one child under the age of 15 travels free with each city card holder. I had an amazing experience in Vienna. You can go whenever you want using the transportation easily and fast. You don’t have to worry about buying tickets all the time and for sure you save money, especially if you go for many days. I’m not sure if it’s value for money if you go for 1-3 days it depends how many times you will need the transportation and how many things you want to see!

The Vienna Card is a great way to explore Vienna and use local public transport. However, in my opinion, the combination of student / schoolchildren discount and an e-scooter is more worthwhile. However, it offers a very good alternative for all those who cannot fall back on such a discount

I definitely recommend the 72 hour ticket, I did all my sightseeing by tram, I am all over Vienna ... even at the Central Cemetery there is a bus that does a tour and you can use the ticket for it ... .... Of course I have already planned from home .......
