We had a really joyful and sweet guide called Sam. The tour was amazingly beautiful and totally worth it. Though we thought there was gonna be a little more time spent in an actual ice cave. We visisted a small one, and it was incredible. We had only hoped to see more. Recommendable to spend a little more money on the tours that go inside the big ice caves.

Nice walk through the glacial. The activity includes a visit to a little ice cave where you can stay during 20/30min taking photos. The guide made good explanations about the glacial and let us stop to take photos during the walk. In my opinion is a must activity if you go to Iceland in winter but it's expensive for what it includes

We had an amazing tour with Martin from Troll Expeditions and can't recommend this experience enough when visiting southeast Iceland. The entire tour lasted around 4 hours and we did the 2pm slot which was perfect for us. Our group was only around 8 people which meant we had lots of time to take pictures and explore the ice cave when we arrived. Martin gave us all the time we needed and the tips and tricks to get the best photos which we really appreciated. He was the perfect guide, a great personality and very charismatic but always making sure everyone was safe and doing what they should be under the icy conditions. Walking between was glacier was surreal and like nothing we have ever experienced, the textures of the ice makes it look like you're entering a frozen beehive. You may spot the few Ravens flying around which was really cool to see up close. If you are passing by Skaftafell during your trip you have to stop here and do this tour, the value for money is outstanding!
