What people are saying about Wat Phnom

Overall rating

First of all, after asking the organizer, we were able to combine the Phnom Penh city tour and the S-21 prison & killing fields tour, both of which were actually intended as a half-day tour in the morning, into a full-day tour without any problems. The tour is extremely exciting and also very depressing and touching due to the visit to the prison and the killing fields. In the museum (with an extra guide if desired) you can see many exhibits from Angkor. Unfortunately, the royal palace was closed for renovations at the time of our stay. Our fabulous guide, whose almost accent-free English is very easy to understand even for non-native speakers, provided us with a lot of information about the history of Cambodia and especially its darkest chapter, the reign of terror of the Khmer Rouge. Highly Recommended!

We had a wonderful guide who was very knowledgeable! The full day tour gave us an understanding of the country and the kind, beautiful people of Cambodia. I highly recommend this tour! All of the sites we visited were thoroughly explained with history and cultural facts. Our guide was friendly and welcoming and made us feel safe and at ease the entire day.

Mr. Ouk Chantha was an expert guide, knowledgeable about the location and gave personal experience to the visit. He and the driver picked me up and were very pleasant to spend the morning with.

All beautiful and well organized as always. Very kind, competent guide with excellent English. Highly recommended
